They serve real and traditional Italian food such as pizzas and lasagnas, chicken parmesan, eggplant parmesan, and much more. Today the restaurant is run by children of Nicola and Edda: son Tony and daughter Rita. Red Rose Pizzeria was first opened in 1963 by Nicola and Edda Caputo. Red Rose has been a local favorite for over 50 years. Mariann, who has been with Red Rose for 14 years, says “Red Rose has such a great fallowing of customers that we know once the casino opens people will still keep on coming, some will check out what they have at the casino and then come here because they know the good quality food we have to offer them.”
Mariann, a server at Red rose says “MGM is good about keeping construction out of our way, and their workers come get take out from our restaurant at lunch sometimes too.” Red Rose is not letting construction of MGM impact their business. They made sure that all of their customers know that they are open during construction. This local family restaurant is running like clockwork and operating during the massive construction that goes on right next door.
